TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) is the global leader in education and training for the responsible service, sale, and consumption of alcohol. Proven effective by third-party studies, TIPS is a skills-based training program that is designed to prevent intoxication, underage drinking, and drunk driving. TIPS trains servers, sellers, and consumers of alcohol how to prevent intoxication, drunk driving, and underage drinking. Proven effective through independent research, TIPS is the only program that can meet all your alcohol training needs. With over 2 million certified individuals across the US and beyond, many businesses already enjoy the benefits of TIPS.

The On Premise program is a five-hour program targeted for servers at restaurants, bars, hotels or any establishment where alcohol is consumed on the premises. Employees learn strategies for serving alcohol responsibly, while providing the best possible customer service.

At the end of the program, the TIPS trainer distributes a 40 question, multiple-choice exam which is sent to Health Communications, Inc. for grading and certification. Results are then sent back to the original testing site. Upon successful passing of the exam, the students receive their certification card which is active for 3 years and good in any establishment he/she chose to work in.
