eTIPS Online Training Certification Course

The Academy of Professional Bartendng School now offers you the convenience of receiving your TIPS training and Certifcation Online!

We offer 2 programs:
eTIPS ON PREMISE

Program Duration: 3 hours

Target Audience: restaurants, bars, nightclubs, resorts, hotels and other establishments where alcohol is consumed on the premises.

The Challenges: Restaurants and bars are great places for people to socialize and have a good time. Unfortunately, that good time sometimes gets out of hand. Servers must be able to deal with these problem behaviors and the challenges associated with underage drinking and drunk driving. Establishments know they need their staff trained, but can't find the time or location to train them.

The Solution: eTIPS On Premise allows waiters, waitresses, and bartenders to receive the training they need to prevent the misuse of alcohol. In addition, eTIPS training allows servers of alcohol to take the course when it is convenient for them. eTIPS trained servers learn to recognize the signs of intoxication and how to effectively intervene when a situation gets out of control. Through thought-provoking video clips, eTIPS challenges servers to evaluate and re-evaluate the way they manage their customers. eTIPS OFF PREMISE

Program Duration: 3 hours

Target Audience: grocery stores, liquor stores, gas stations, and convenience stores.

The Challenges: Even when alcohol is sold "to go," employees may encounter alcohol-related problems. Clerks must be especially careful not to sell alcohol to underage or intoxicated customers and they usually have little time to assess the situation when making the sale.

The Solution: TIPS for Off Premise teaches your staff how to recognize when a customer is intoxicated or underage. In addition to preventing the illegal sale of alcohol, store employees learn how to handle intoxicated customers and keep them from harming themselves and others. The intervention techniques reflect the short period of time a clerk has to interact with a customer.
